About Richard W. Mack...
Richard Mack's prose and poetry have been published in Wind Literary Journal, South Dakota Review, Clearwater Journal, Cape Rock, Branches, Green's Magazine, Denver Post, Circus Maximus, Palouse Review, and other journals. Most recently, his work was published in Deer Drink the Moon, Poems of Oregon, an anthology of poems about Oregon by thirty-three outstanding poets (Ooligan Press, Portland State University).
He is a former public school administrator and university professor whose career took him to Micronesia, Guam, Japan, and throughout the deserts and mountains of eastern Oregon. Having lived and worked in Colorado,Washington, California, and Idaho as well, Rick and his wife Margo have settled in La Grande, Oregon where they own and operate Wind Whistle Stables and Arena.
